Job summary

Compass Group USA, via Flik Independent School Dining, is seeking a full-time Food Service Utility at Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, NC. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

This role supports a busy school dining program and offers a path to growth within a national dining services company. You will maintain kitchen work areas, keep equipment and utensils clean and orderly, wash surfaces, remove trash, assist with banquet setup and front-of-house tasks, and help with loading

Qualifications

• Experience with kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Ability to sweep, mop, and wash surfaces in food-prep areas.
• Willingness to assist with varied dining operations and setup.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
