Job purpose
Kitchen Utility Team Members are essential members of a full dining sushi Hand Roll Bar team. Kitchen Utility Team Members are in charge of basic food prep including preparing and cooking rice, plating some dishes, plating & preparing take-out and delivery boxes. Also, Kitchen Utility Team Members ensure the cleanliness of all restaurant silverware, glassware, kitchenware, and tableware in a timely and professional manner. Moreover, dishwashers ensure the cleanliness of other restaurant areas such as the dining floor, kitchen floor, bathrooms, and general kitchen areas such as preparation tables, sinks, and equipment, and safely dispose of all trash promptly and professionally.

Working conditions
Mostly indoor kitchen working environment in a restaurant that handles a variety of fish, seafood, vegetables, fruits, wheat products, rice, dry seaweed, sauces, and many other food and beverage products. Candidates with severe food or chemical allergies must inform management during the application process.
Physical requirements
Employees must be able to stand for long periods of time. Job requires bending and kneeling in order to reach certain items such as plates, spoons, sauces, silverware, utensils, etc... Job requires moderate lifting (maximum 65 lbs). Job requires working with plastic gloves (latex and latex-free available) and handling chemicals such as degreasers, dishwashing chemicals, cleaning products, and other chemicals associated with restaurant cleaning and washing processes.
