Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group, owner of the Applebee’s neighborhood brand, seeks a General Utility / Dishwasher to support a busy kitchen. You will keep dishes, utensils and cookware clean and sanitized while assisting with food prep and meal service.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment that values community involvement and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Desire to care for others, grow and learn.
• Positive attitude and teamwork.
• Ability to lift and move cases up to 50 pounds? and up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Comfort with indoor/outdoor environments and a hot, damp kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Scrape and pre-rinse dirty dishes and load them into the dishwasher.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand and/or with a machine.
• Complete all assigned prep work for the kitchen.
• Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster area.
• Clean work areas, tables, equipment and floors.
• Clean garbage cans and receptacles.
• Assemble, maintain and breakdown the dish machine.
