Job summary

Kukuiʻula is seeking a Kitchen Utility Steward to handle a variety of kitchen cleaning tasks at The Club. Duties include operating dishwashing machines, transferring food items, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen facilities and cafeterias.

Role Overview

As a Kitchen Utility Steward at The Club at Kukui'ula, you will undertake a variety of general and specialized kitchen cleaning tasks. Your duties will extend to operating the dishwashing machine, facilitating the transfer of food and necessary items to the banquet areas, and peeling vegetables. A key aspect of this role is maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen facilities, cafeteria, and other associated areas. In certain circumstances, you may also serve as a Kitchen Runner.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a kitchen or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate kitchen appliances like dishwashing machines.
• Familiarity with kitchen sanitation standards and procedures.
• Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy items.

Requirements

• Willingness to perform a range of cleaning tasks, including specialized kitchen cleaning.
• Ability to transfer food and other required items to the banquet areas.
• Skill in peeling vegetables and performing other basic food preparation tasks.
• Commitment to maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen facilities, cafeteria, and other areas.
• Flexibility to serve as a Kitchen Runner when needed.

Salary Range $23.80 to $28.00 USD Hourly.
