Job summary

Greenleaf Therapeutics LLC is seeking a Kitchen Technician to handle cannabis edible production, packaging, and data logging in a compliant, safety-focused environment.

You will follow SOPs, maintain cleanliness, track weights and inventory, and support new recipes while meeting daily KPIs and deadlines; state regulations and ServSafe principles apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years kitchen, food services, or related experience.
• Experience producing candies, chocolates, cookies, brownies, and other baked goods preferred.
• Familiarity with marijuana, medical, health, and/or sanitation regulations preferred.
• Food Handlers/ServSafe certification preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process cannabis infused edibles by hand or machine, including baking, labeling, and packaging.
• Record data accurately on company systems including counts, inventory, weights and measurements.
• Adhere to quality control SOPs and ensure product quality throughout.
• Maintain a clean, compliant, and safe work environment; report safety concerns promptly.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas; check for health code violations and mitigate cross contamination.
• Support new production creation and recipe input as needed.
• Meet daily goals, KPIs, and kitchen objectives set by management.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by Kitchen Manager.

About The Role

The Kitchen Technician will be responsible for various processes associated with cannabis infused edible product development. The Technician provides the daily care and focused attention necessary to safely produce and package quality cannabis infused edibles. How you’ll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities):

• Responsible for various processes, including baking, labeling, and packaging cannabis infused edibles by hand or machine.
• Accurately records data on using Company system and protocols, which may include but is not limited to accurate counts, inventory, weights and measurements of cannabis infused edibles throughout the processing and packaging procedures.
• Adhere to specific quality control SOPs regarding procedural operations and quality of product produced; verify quality control standards are being met throughout the process.
• Maintains a clean, compliant, and safe work environment; responsible for reporting any necessary compliance or safety concerns promptly.
• Compliantly clean and sanitize kitchen area as assigned by management, which may include sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, sanitizing workstations, cleaning tools and equipment; checking for any possible health code violations and mitigating the risk of cross contamination.
• Provides input and support as necessary for new production creation and recipes.
• Meets daily goals, kitchen objectives, and KPIs set by management.
• Assists with other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.

Skills To Be Successful (minimum Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of kitchen, food services, or related experience required.
• Experience producing candies, chocolates, cookies, brownies, and other baked goods preferred.
• Familiarity with marijuana, medical, health, and/or sanitation regulations preferred.
• Food Handlers/ServSafe certificate preferred.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary focus and attention to detail.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Additional Qualifications

• Must be of the minimum age required by state regulations.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check(s)
• Ability to complete and pass Food Handlers/ServSafe certification

Computers and Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to learn, navigate and accurately utilize the company’s seed-to-sale tracking software (where applicable).
