Job summary

Greenleaf Therapeutics LLC seeks a Kitchen Technician to support cannabis infused edible development and packaging. You will handle baking, labeling, and precise data recording to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1–2 years kitchen or related experience preferred.
  • Experience with baked goods (candies, cookies, brownies) is a plus.
  • Food safety / ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Bake, label, and package cannabis infused edibles by hand or machine.
  • Record data accurately in company system (counts, inventory, weights).
  • Adhere to quality control SOPs and verify product quality throughout processing.
  • Maintain a clean, compliant, and safe work environment; report compliance or safety concerns.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment; prevent cross contamination.
  • Support new production creation and recipe input as needed.
  • Meet daily KPIs and production goals; assist with other tasks as assigned.

Then come grow with us!About the Role:The Kitchen Technician will be responsible for various processes associated with cannabis infused edible product development. The Technician provides the daily care and focused attention necessary to safely produce and package quality cannabis infused edibles. Excellent work environment with a full benefit package offered including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, holidays, pet insurance, and other paid leaves of absence.How you’ll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities):Responsible for various processes, including baking, labeling, and packaging cannabis infused edibles by hand or machine.¨NBSP;Accurately records data on using Company system and protocols, which may include but is not limited to accurate counts, inventory, weights and measurements of cannabis infused edibles throughout the processing and packaging procedures.Adhere to specific quality control SOPs regarding procedural operations and quality of product produced; verify quality control standards are being met throughout the process.Maintains a clean, compliant, and safe work environment; responsible for reporting any necessary compliance or safety concerns promptly.Compliantly clean and sanitize kitchen area as assigned by management, which may include sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, sanitizing workstations, cleaning tools and equipment; checking for any possible health code violations and mitigating the risk of cross contamination.Provides input and support as necessary for new production creation and recipes.Meets daily goals, kitchen objectives, and KPIs set by management.Assists with other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.Skills to be Successful (minimum qualifications):High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 1-2 years of kitchen, food services, or related experience required.Experience producing candies, chocolates, cookies, brownies, and other baked goods preferred.Familiarity with marijuana, medical, health, and/or sanitation regulations preferred.Food Handlers/ServSafe certificate preferred.Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary focus and attention to detail.Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with colleagues.Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesAdditional QualificationsMust be of the minimum age required by state regulations.Ability to pass state mandated background check(s)Ability to complete and pass Food Handlers/ServSafe certificationComputers and TechnologyProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookAbility to learn, navigate and accurately utilize the company’s seed-to-sale tracking software (where applicable).Perks & Benefits:Full suite of medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid parental leave401 (k)Paid Time OffShort Term and Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee life insurance and supplemental lifeSpouse and child life and AD&DPet insuranceFSA and HSA available*Based on eligibility.Schedule:Available to work [daily schedule], with flexibility for mandatory overtime as required to meet business needs.**Subject to change as business needs.Work Environment and Physical Demands:The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
