Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to interact with customers, maintain a clean, stocked deli area, and deliver top-notch service. No prior experience is required—we will teach you the ropes and provide training.

You will prepare deli items per guides, assist the cashier team in maintaining the deli and cafe areas, and help ensure food safety and quality throughout each shift. The role offers opportunities for cross-training and growth within the stores network.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs; assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds; ability to work in various temperatures.
