Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member in Marion, North Carolina. You will interact with customers, assist cashier staff, and help maintain a clean, stocked deli area while preparing various deli items. No prior experience is required as training will be provided.

This role offers growth opportunities within a busy travel-stop environment, where teamwork and friendly service are emphasized. You may rotate through duties across the store as needed, with an emphasis on food safety

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs.
• Assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions using various methods and technologies.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
