Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Texas is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to handle deli duties, assist customers, and keep the area clean and well stocked. You will interact with diverse customers, deliver friendly service, and follow safety standards throughout shifts.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided. You will learn menu preparation, support other store areas as needed, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service, answer questions about menu offerings and assist cashiers with deli upkeep.

• Follow company policies to ensure proper food safety and cleanliness.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier or Maintenance as needed.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
