Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores in Cheek, Texas is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to brighten customers' days with friendly service while keeping the deli area clean, stocked, and welcoming. No experience? We will train you.

You will prepare a variety of deli items, assist with the coffee and fountain bars, and may cross-train in other departments. The role requires the ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in a range of temperatures.

Responsabilidades

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting deli, coffee, and fountain bar teams.
• Accurately prepare deli products such as salads, fruit, sandwiches and wraps following preparation guides.
• Follow company policies and food safety procedures in daily tasks.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, and Facility Maintenance.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
