Come join a dynamic team as a KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER at Chick-fil-A Lansdowne Station. The successful applicant will be a key player in a thriving business committed to growing the talents of team members and delivering an outstanding dining experience for every guest.

The role of a KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER is to maintain a very high standard in all areas of kitchen operations and food safety to ensure every guest receives a consistent food experience of excellence with regards to food quality, presentation, and speed of service. As a member of the kitchen team, responsibilities may include any of the kitchen areas including, but not limited to: food prep, assembly and cooking including produce, raw, cold & hot breakfast/lunch/dinner products, desserts and beverages, cleaning & maintenance, truck ordering & inventory, storage and waste disposal areas, as well as boxed meals, catering orders and deliveries. All areas of the kitchen will implement LEAN and other required systems & checks for Food Safety, Food Quality, Food Cost, and Productivity. All KITCHEN TEAM MEMBERS ARE expected to work along with their team and the entire store with a collaborative spirit to strive for excellent performance in all areas.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

PROVIDES A REMARKABLE SERVICE

  • Effectively assembles orders
  • Follows standards for proper presentation of orders
  • Ensures accuracy of orders
  • Communicates effectively with the front counter and catering team about wait times
  • Provides a sense of urgency
  • Proper food quality and monitoring
  • Upholds organizational standards to increase proficiency
  • Monitoring/preventing waste by following proper tracking

MAINTAINS AND PROVIDES AN EXCELLENT ENVIRONMENT

  • Ensures a clean and sanitized food contact surface
  • Ensures a clean and inviting kitchen environment; this includes walls, floors, floorboards, ceiling, hood vents, and equipment
  • Always prepared for food safety inspections

EXHIBITS PROFICIENT UNDERSTANDING OF CHICK-FIL-A BRAND & PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

  • Able to correctly assemble all menu products
  • Able to properly use all equipment related to the kitchen

PERFORMS AT A HIGH STANDARD OF PROFICIENCY IN ASSIGNED KITCHEN STATIONS

  • Kitchen team members will be trained in a minimum of three kitchen stations
  • Exhibits knowledge of assigned Chick-fil-A training modules required to workstation
  • Stays current on Chick-fil-A training updates and new product rollouts for assigned stations
