Job summary

The Creamery Kitchen, part of Dairy Farmers of America, seeks a kitchen assistant to join the quick service restaurant team in Southern Utah. You will help deliver fresh, handmade meals from pizza to salads, ensuring quality and timely service.

Responsibilities include food prep at various stations, learning all menu items, proper portioning, safe equipment use, and maintaining clean work areas while following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certificate/license: Food Handlers certificate (may be obtained within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items adhering to The Creamery Kitchen's recipes.
• Provide customers with outstanding service and quality food.
• Set up, operate, and shut down daily station assignment.
• Prepare food and serve according to state health and safety code.
• Learn all menu items prepared at each station.
• Maintain proper portion control for consistency.
• Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely.
• Assist with deliveries and proper storing methods (FIFO).
• Maintain cleanliness at assigned station and prep area.
• Practice proper sanitation and personal hygiene.
