Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly, high‑quality customer service while preparing deli items and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience is required—we will train you and help you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers with menu questions.
• Prepare deli items per guides: salads, fruit, sandwiches, wraps and parfaits.
• Maintain clean, stocked deli, coffee, and fountain areas during shifts.
• Assist in other departments as needed and learn new roles.
• Move and lift up to 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
