Job summary

Chick-fil-A Austin Peay is hiring Kitchen Team Members for full-time or part-time roles, with afternoon and evening shifts. The role includes food preparation, cooking, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while delivering exceptional guest service.

No restaurant experience is required; we provide hands-on training, clear expectations, and opportunities to grow based on performance and restaurant needs. Sundays off and a path for learning leadership opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• No restaurant experience required
• Opening shifts may begin as early as 4:00 a.m. and end no later than 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and stock food according to Chick-fil-A standards
• Bread chicken by hand and operate grills, pressure fryers, and other kitchen equipment
• Follow recipes, portion sizes, cooking procedures, and quality standards
• Work with focus and urgency to keep orders moving during busy periods
• Complete temperature checks and follow all food‑safety procedures
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with Team Members and leaders
• Keep workstations, equipment, floors, and storage areas clean and organized
• Sweep, mop, wash dishes, remove trash, and complete assigned cleaning responsibilities
• Unload deliveries and properly organize and store products
• Greet and treat guests warmly whenever you interact with them
• Support other Team Members and areas of the restaurant when needed
