Job summary

Chick-fil-A Murfreesboro is looking for a Kitchen Team Member to join our Back of House in a fast-paced environment, where you’ll help prepare high-quality food with care, consistency, and urgency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Quality Food: Cook, assemble, and present menu items according to Chick-fil-A standards for quality, freshness, and consistency.
• Master Kitchen Stations: Learn and work across stations such as breading, fries, food preparation, assembly, and boards.
• Work with Urgency: Keep orders moving accurately and efficiently, even during busy meal periods.
• Maintain Food Safety: Follow proper food handling, sanitation, temperature, and cleanliness procedures.
• Keep the Kitchen Ready: Restock supplies, maintain organized workspaces, and complete assigned opening, closing, and cleaning tasks.
• Protect Equipment & Safety: Use kitchen equipment responsibly and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns to leadership.
• Learn & Improve: Participate in training, stay current on menu and procedure updates, and continually build your skills.
• Support Your Team: Communicate effectively, help teammates, and take ownership of your responsibilities.
• Represent the Brand: Follow Chick-fil-A standards, including uniform, appearance, and workplace expectations.
