Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with meal preparation, maintain records, and support the manager in daily reporting. The role emphasizes sanitation, food safety, and adherence to kitchen procedures while delivering quality meals.

The position requires the ability to work quickly under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout all kitchen areas. On-site work in Beaverton, Oregon.

Qualifications

• Reading and following verbal and written instructions is required.
• Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure.
• Food Service Certificate as needed or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items, beverages, and snacks.
• Add garnishments to enhance customer satisfaction and eye appeal.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
• Follow uniform policy and maintain clean work areas.
• Communicate with the Manager daily to prepare the day’s menu accurately.
• Keep temperatures in compliance with safety standards.
