Chick-fil-A Farmingdale in Farmingdale, NY is hiring a Kitchen Team Member with no experience necessary. Starting pay is $17 to $17.50 per hour, dependent on position, experience, and availability. Team Members deliver signature Chick-fil-A service and food, while gaining life experience in a positive, fast-paced environment.

Position types include full-time and part-time. You will help with cooking, food prep, hospitality, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently.
• Know assignments for all kitchen stations (fries, breading, assembling, boards, prep).
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly.
• Follow Food Safety procedures and operational standards.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code.

Kitchen Team Member Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Maintain strict adherence to Food Safety procedures
• Follow procedures to ensure Operational Excellence
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
