Job summary

Dash In in Concord, NC is seeking Kitchen Team Members to join our growing back-of-house crew in a 24/7 retail environment. The starting wage is $16.00 per hour, with an additional $1 per hour premium for overnight shifts, reflecting our commitment to flexible scheduling and fair compensation.

As a Kitchen Team Member, you’ll follow food safety standards, keep prep areas organized, stock and deliver supplies, and assist with cooking tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or ability to complete company-paid GED program).
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US.
• 1 year of food service experience preferred (line cook or prep cook).
• Flexibility for days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards to prepare meals.
• Monitor prep levels to ensure freshness and readiness to serve.
• Keep prep stations organized and maintain a clean kitchen.
• Ensure proper storage and placement of delivered goods.
• Maintain kitchen appearance and cleanliness throughout shifts.
• Engage with guests to provide a personalized experience.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers and slicers.
• Lift and move large containers up to 50–65 pounds using proper technique.

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be eligible to work in the US (Wills Group/Dash In participates in E-Verify)
• 1 year offood service experience, line cook or prep cook experience preferred
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

• ActiveServSafecertification, or a similar qualification
• Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
