Job summary

Chick-fil-A is seeking a Back of House Team Member to support fast, safe, high-quality food preparation in a friendly, team-oriented setting.

The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with learning from experienced Operators and leaders. You’ll contribute to a positive dining experience while growing professionally in a locally owned Chick-fil-A restaurant.

Qualifications

• Must be consistent and reliable in a fast-paced setting.
• Cheerful and positive attitude required for guest interactions.
• Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented approach to food prep and safety.
• Able to multi-task and work well independently or on a team.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Minimum age of 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Know assignments for all kitchen stations (fries, breading, assembling, boards, food prep).
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times.
• Stay up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues to Leadership.
• Complete in-house training and stay updated on changes.
• Complete opening or closing tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times

• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in‑house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
