Job summary

The Gardner School is seeking a Kitchen Support Staff member to assist with meal preparation, inventory, and maintaining a safe, clean kitchen and cafe area at our Blue Ash location.

Ideal candidates have experience in large-volume cooking, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting classroom activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dietary allergies and food safety regulations.
• Experience in food preparation and large-volume cooking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong time management.
• Ability to bend, squat, lift up to 60 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of meals according to approved menus.
• Maintain inventory of food and supply orders.
• Ensure food is cooked and served at the correct temperature.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and organized kitchen and cafe area.
• Dishwashing.
• Support in classrooms and other areas as needed.
