Job summary

Adecco is assisting a local client in Lake Placid, NY to recruit for a Kitchen Support role. The position is full-time and direct hire, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour and a Friday–Tuesday schedule from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The role involves food prep, dishwashing, stocking, and general kitchen support to ensure a safe and high-quality dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with ServSafe preferred, reliable transportation, and prior kitchen or food

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including produce prep and salad bar setup.
• Support meal service by working food stations, including grill and omelet stations.
• Serve food and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature logging procedures.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and serving equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen, dish room, dining areas, coolers, and storage spaces.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize work areas at the end of each shift.
• Remove trash and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist with special events and hospitality functions as needed.
• Participate in daily team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Report maintenance issues, equipment concerns, and workplace incidents promptly.
• Support and train new team members on proper procedures and equipment use.
