Job summary

Shane's Rib Shack, LLC in Ellijay, GA is seeking a Back of House Employee to support our kitchen with food preparation, cooking, cleaning and dishwashing, ensuring efficient restaurant operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Kitchen Operations: Prior kitchen experience preferred but training provided.
• Team Collaboration: Works well within a team to meet kitchen demands.
• Adaptability: Willing to take on varied tasks as needed.
• Attention to Detail: Ensures quality and cleanliness in food prep and stations.
• Physical Stamina: Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Assist with preparing ingredients for cooking, including washing, cutting, and marinating.
• Cooking: Participate in cooking and assembling dishes as needed, following recipes and kitchen directives.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work stations, adhering to health guidelines.
• Equipment Handling: Use and maintain kitchen equipment, report any malfunctions to the kitchen manager.
• Support Duties: Help with various kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
