Job summary

Cinemark is hiring a Kitchen Support team member in Boca Raton to help execute bold, high-energy food service for guests. You’ll assist in line prep, ensure recipe integrity, and maintain clean, safe food handling practices while supporting a positive, fast-paced dining environment.

Applicants should be at least 16, with food handling training and optional Safe Alcohol Service certification. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; strong English communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local/state mandated certification/health card/food handlers permit where required.
• Team Members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service and strong verbal/written English communication.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Brings passion for food and a fun attitude daily.
• Prepares all items for line according to recipes and portion controls.
• Follows prep lists daily and maintains food quality.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of all foods per health and safety regulations.
• Minimizes food waste, ensures proper storage and safety practices.
• Cleans preparation area and equipment after use.
• Communicates effectively with team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
• Maintains professional Cinemark culinary attire and image.
• Adheres to SOPs, preventive maintenance, safety and sanitation standards.
• Wipes down high-contact areas and uses PPE as required.
• Adapts to cleaning task frequency and scope.
• Reports safety or security issues to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Role Summary:

In the Kitchen Support position, you will be supporting the team to contribute to strong execution of duties and provide a memorable Guest experience. Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities of a Kitchen Support include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Brings a passion for food and an energetic and fun attitude daily
• Prepares all required items for line in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls
• Follows and executes prep lists daily
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of all food products in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Maintains policies and procedures to minimize food waste, theft, and ensures proper food storage, food requisitions, safety, and sanitation
• Cleans food preparation area and equipment after each use
• Communicates well with Team Members to ensure Guests receive an extraordinarily memorable dining experience
• Provides a professional image at all times through proper Cinemark culinary attire
• Ensures that standard operating procedures and all preventative maintenance, safety, sanitation are consistently achieved
• Consistently wipes down and sanitizes Employee and Guest high-contact areas
• Properly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position-specific tasks
• Adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
• Monitors safety and or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and reports issues to management
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking and reaching around the theater.
• Noise level may be moderate to high at times.
• Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
