Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Atlanta is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to lead culinary operations with a hands-on approach. You will supervise, train, and coach kitchen staff, ensure service standards, and maintain safety and quality across shifts in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has restaurant or bar leadership experience, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Two years experience leading shifts in restaurant or bar.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coaches kitchen staff.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet service standards.
• Oversees food & beverage operations when F&B Manager is absent.
• Performs opening/closing duties.
• Ensures guest requests are resolved promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises, trains, monitors and coaches department staff
• Directs and assigns employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards
• Oversee food and beverage operations in absence of the F&B Manager
• Performs department opening and/or closing dutiesReinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times
• Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of two (2) years in restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally
• Team player
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
• Knowledge of local alcohol serving practices and standards
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations
