Job summary

Eurest at Caterpillar in East Peoria, IL is hiring a full-time chef to lead kitchen operations and ensure top-quality food service.

You will supervise cooks, prepare meals to standardized recipes, manage sanitation and inventory, and contribute to menu development in a fast-paced environment.

Position offers a fixed pay rate of $20.30 per hour, Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–2:30 pm, with comprehensive benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of back-of-house cook experience.
• Recent culinary school graduates welcomed.
• Internal Employee Referral Bonus available.
• Must be able to work in East Peoria, IL.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and evaluates kitchen and food-service staff.
• Supervises cooks, interviews, schedules and payroll duties.
• Prepares high-quality food according to recipes and schedules.
• Ensures proper food handling, sanitation and serving temperatures.
• Manages inventory and tracks waste for ordering needs.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards throughout the shift.
