Job summary

The Hutton Hotel, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, is seeking a Lead Cook in Nashville to guide a team of cooks and deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to develop new menu items and ensure high quality and presentation across dishes.

Ideal candidates bring leadership and a passion for food in a fast-paced hotel kitchen, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certificate preferred.
• 3–5 years of lead cook or similar role in a high-volume setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate a team.
• Proficient in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to manage inventory and ordering of ingredients.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Overview

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Cook to join our team! As a Lead Cook, you'll play an integral role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. With a focus on quality, creativity, and innovation, you'll lead a team of talented cooks in preparing and presenting dishes that are both visually stunning and delicious. You'll work closely with our Executive Chef and Sous Chef to develop new menu items, ensure consistent quality across all dishes, and manage inventory and ordering of ingredients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications
