How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Kitchen Supervisor at Lava Island, you’ll ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our café, contributing to exceptional guest experiences. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supervise the Café Team – Lead, coach, and mentor team members to provide outstanding service.
  • Uphold Standards & Protocols – Ensure compliance with operational procedures, food safety protocols, and service standards.
  • Foster Engagement – Encourage associate development and maintain a positive team environment.
  • Ensure Quality & Safety – Maintain cleanliness, quality control, and proper food handling practices.
  • Support Operations – Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

What You’ll Need

  • ServSafe Certification or completion of the ServSafe Manager course within 30 days of hire
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be18 years or older and pass a background check and drug screening
