Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Substitute Food Service Worker to assist the manager with food preparation, sanitation, and daily meal records. You will help ensure quality and adherence to kitchen safety practices while supporting daily operations.

Responsibilities include preparing items per menu, maintaining accurate reports, proper food storage, serving on schedule, and supporting cleaning, PPE use, and uniform policies.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal and ensure proper storage of food.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and department policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
