Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Spring Arbor, MI, is hiring immediately for a full-time Food Service Utility. The role maintains kitchen areas and cleans equipment; schedule is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with rotating weekends. Location: 106 East Main Street, Spring Arbor, MI 49283.

No prior experience required, but dishwashing or kitchen stocking experience is preferred. Pay range is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in dishwashing or kitchen stocking is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables and food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and clean containers; steam clean or hose garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet setup and front-of-house arrangements.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distribute supplies and equipment as needed.
• Follow outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
