Job summary

Compass Group USA's Levy brand is seeking a Steward to support kitchens and back-of-house areas in stadium settings. The role focuses on cleanliness, sanitation, and operational support while ensuring compliance with Levy, client, health department, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean kitchens, operating dish machines and equipment, disposing of waste, delivering supplies, and performing other stewarding duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced, high-volume environment experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work nights/weekends/extended hours.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and commitment to safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, sanitary kitchens, dish rooms, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Operate commercial dish machines, floor scrubbers, pressure washers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and other stewarding equipment safely.
• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, pots, pans, utensils, kitchen tools, and food preparation equipment.
• Collect, transport, and dispose of trash, recycling, grease, glass, and compost in accordance with safety and sustainability standards.
• Deliver clean wares, supplies, chemicals, and equipment throughout the stadium as needed.
• Performs other stewarding and operational duties as assigned.

Founded in Chicago 40 years ago as a Delicatessen, Levy now finds itself as a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country.

Performs stewarding, sanitation, warewashing, and operational support duties to maintain clean, organized and food-safe kitchens, concession areas, clubs, and back-of-house spaces. Supports culinary and operations teams while ensuring compliance with Levy, client, health department, and food safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains clean, sanitary, and organized kitchens, dish rooms, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and sanitize floors and food contact surfaces using approved chemicals and equipment.
• Operates commercial dish machines, floor scrubbers, pressure washers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and other stewarding equipment safely.
• Washes, rinses, sanitizes, and stores dishes, pots, pans, utensils, kitchen tools, and food preparation equipment.
• Collects, transports, and disposes of trash, recycling, grease, glass, and compost in accordance with safety and sustainability standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes waste receptacles, dish rooms, utility areas, drains, and stewarding equipment.
• Delivers clean wares, supplies, chemicals, and equipment throughout the stadium as needed.
• Performs other stewarding and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended event hours.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and commitment to safety and sanitation.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stands, walks, bends, reaches, pushes, pulls, and lifts throughout the shift.
• Regular exposure to hot water, steam, wet floors, cleaning chemicals, and varying temperatures.
