Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dishwashing/ kitchen support role in Parsippany. You will wash and sanitize dishes, keep the kitchen area clean, assist with deliveries, and ensure safe food handling while delivering friendly customer service.

This entry-level position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to health and safety standards, with opportunities to participate in store programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; attends required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.
• Maximizes sales potential through prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work procedures.
• Maintains clean and sanitary working environment; maintains equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
