Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and support store operations in Madison, NJ. You will wash dishes, assist with deliveries, and provide courteous service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, following procedures, and assisting with stocking and merchandising. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed and ready to work; works shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides courteous customer service, answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work practice procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
