Job summary

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is seeking a Dishwasher to be an all-around team player, from cleaning to restocking dishes, while supporting a dynamic culinary team at an exciting new restaurant concept.

This role emphasizes fast, careful work in a noisy kitchen, strict cleanliness per SNHD, and flexible scheduling. Must have valid US work authorization and a Food Handler's card; previous dishwashing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Active SNHD Food Handler's card with a minimum of six months before expiration
• Previous dishwashing, stewarding, or similar back-of-house experience preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Move effectively and efficiently throughout work areas

Responsibilities

• Ensure that items are properly cleaned and stored
• Organize plates and glassware
• Collect soiled dishes from dining areas and transport them to the kitchen
• Mop stockrooms and report any hazardous situations to the kitchen or maintenance manager
• Comply with all safety and health department procedures, keeping kitchens clean, organized and sanitary
• Work cooperatively and effectively in a team
• Execute proper health and safety protocols while operating equipment, handling food, storing food, maintaining temperature & time control logs, and sanitizing as dictated by the SNHD
• Report health and safety incidents and concerns directly to leadership in an accurate and timely manner
• Contribute to successful SNHD health inspections
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Must be physically present at work, in order to perform all functions required of the position
