Hotel Indigo Denver Downtown is seeking a dishwasher to support the restaurant and kitchen by providing clean, sanitary ware and maintaining a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Under supervision you will load and unload dishwashers, monitor detergents, manually wash items, and keep the dish room organized to meet health standards.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• No prior experience required.
• Must have basic knowledge of dishwashing.

Responsibilities

• Gathers all dirty dishware from tubs, rinses and stacks in dishracks, clearing leftovers and trash for washing.
• Loads full dishracks on belt and places them correctly for machine operation; operates automatic dishwashing machine as instructed.
• Loads dishwashing solutions into automatic dispensers and adjusts detergent output.
• Unloads clean dishes, inspects cleanliness, and stacks in carts and shelves for staff use.
• Manually scrubs pots and pans, dries by hand, and puts away in correct places.
• Polishes silver, stainless steel and pewter to present clean equipment for diners.
• Maintains dishwashing equipment and ensures health compliance.
• Keeps the dish room clean and orderly; sweeps, mops, empties trash, and wipes counters.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
