Job summary

The Delaney at The Vale in Woburn, MA is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations in a senior living community. You will wash pots, dishes and utensils, set up the washing area and help with sanitation and storage as needed.

Strong ability to understand and follow English instructions is required, along with the capability to operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a clean, organized work station in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to set up and operate dish washing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.
• Sets up the dish and pot washing area.
• Prepares for dish washing and washes pots, dishes, and utensils.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes, and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Empties trash containers as required.
