Job summary

The Delaney at The Vale in Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to perform dish and pot washing, general cleaning, and storage of supplies. Schedule: Thursday - Sunday, with opportunities to work additional shifts based on needs.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and assisting with daily tasks to support a smooth operation. Competitive benefits are offered for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Able to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Able to set up and operate dish washing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, dishes and utensils as directed.
• Set up the dish washing area and maintain it.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and kitchen surfaces.
• Store clean pots, dishes and utensils properly.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning and waste handling.
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures.

Salary: $17-$19/hour

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dishwasher:

• Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.
• Sets up the dish and pot washing area.
• Prepares for dish washing and washes pots, dishes, and utensils.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes, and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Empties trash containers as required.
