Job summary

Stonebridge Hospitality Management is seeking a Steward at the Doubletree by Hilton in Grand Junction, CO. The role supports all outlets by maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and ensuring sanitary standards are met.

Typical duties include washing and stocking, coordinating with culinary staff, and assisting with event setups. This is a full-time, hourly position with a pay range of $15.16–$16.00 and non-exempt eligibility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas.
• Ensures proper handling and storage of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Monitors the dishwashing machine for proper cleaning and sanitation.
• Assists in transporting food and equipment to banquet and dining areas as needed.
• Follows health department regulations and hotel standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Disposes of trash and recycling per local regulations.
• Restocks dishes, glassware, and silverware in kitchen and service areas.
• Communicates with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of kitchen equipment.
• Performs routine cleaning tasks such as mopping floors and wiping surfaces.
• Assists with setting up and breaking down kitchen equipment for events.
