Job Summary

We are seeking a Take Out Kitchen Staff Employee to join the team at our busy restaurant Nifty Fifty's! As an employee working the "take out" station, you are the link between the kitchen, customers, online ordering systems and incoming calls . You will be responsible for packaging multiple take out orders effectively in a fast paced environment while taking incoming orders and correctly entering their orders and sending them to the cook and kitchen staff. You are the face of Nifty Fifty's, as customers enter the restaurant, you are expected to greet them and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.

Responsibilities:

Take orders over the phone and manually enter orders into kitchen cpu system

Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations

Package correct meal items into the to go containers and make sure orders go to correct customers

keep a clean station and stock items when needed

Maintaining customer bathroom cleanliness

Verify payments for all orders before handing food to customers

Ensure positive customer experiences

Maintain a "can do" positive attitude and work with kitchen staff to complete opening/closing checklists

Qualifications:

Experience in a restaurant or similar position is preferred

Familiarity with food safety guidelines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
