Scope: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of dishware, cookware, utensils, equipment, and the dining room/kitchen areas.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safety culture by following all SOPs, JSAs, Policies, and Procedures set by Target Hospitality.
- Clean and maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and service areas.
- Sweep and mop floors in both the kitchen and dining room.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all dishes, cookware, and equipment.
- Assist in restocking coolers and displays in the dining area.
- Follow sanitation guidelines and safe operation procedures of Target Hospitality.
- Ensure chemicals and cleaning agents are at proper levels in the mechanical dishwasher.
- Operate and sanitize the mechanical dishwasher properly.
- Follow HACCP guidelines for manual dishwashing procedures.
- Properly store cleaned dishes, flatware, cookware, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to exceed guest expectations.
- Attend safety meetings and participate in emergency response procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Physical Demands:
- Stand and squat for extended periods, with scheduled breaks.
- Walk short and long distances as required.
- Use stairs and step stools.
- Push/pull carts weighing around 50 lbs.
- Work in physically demanding, high-stress environments.
- Operate kitchen machinery.
- Lift an average of 25 lbs frequently, with occasional lifts up to 50 lbs, with assistance if exceeding 50 lbs.
- Reach below waist, at waist, and above shoulder levels, with frequent twisting of neck/back/torso.
- Perform repetitive wrist movements and grasping, handling weights up to 25 lbs.
- Occasionally perform manual dexterity tasks, including typing and using a 10-key.
Working Conditions Environment:
- Hear and understand verbal instructions and alarms.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
- See clearly for inspections and reading labels.
- Work in extreme hot and cold environments.
- Work on a rotational schedule, e.g., 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off, or as directed.
- Navigate safely in small, congested areas.
- Potential exposure to noise and other environmental factors.
- Travel and work long rotations away from home.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of dishwashing experience, preferably in remote camps, hotels, or hospitality industries.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Work effectively with or without supervision.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel and work long rotations away from home.
- Pass a background check and urine analysis.
- Own transportation to the facility.
