DIN TAI FUNG (Food Processing Facility)

LOCATION: 15323 Proctor Avenue, City of Industry, CA 91745

PAY RANGE FOR KITCHEN STAFF POSITIONS (AM SHIFT): $20.00 - $23.92/hour

The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits. Your recruiter can share more information about the salary range and other factors during the hiring process.

SHIFT STARTING TIMES:

Typical Opening (AM) Shift Start Time: Between 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM

KITCHEN STAFF POSITIONS:

  1. Dishwashers = $20.00 - $20.80/hour
  2. Prep = $20.00 - $21.00/hour
  3. Dumpling Prep = $20.00 - $23.87/hour
  4. Butcher / Meat Prep = $20.00 - $21.72/hour
  5. Packing Associate = $20.00 - $20.80/hour
  6. Janitors = $20.00 - $20.80/hour

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR KITCHEN STAFF:

  1. We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated people who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  2. Experience preferred but not required.
  3. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
  4. Butcher experience preferred for Butcher / Meat Prep position.
  5. Open Availability.
  6. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  7. Positive and Professional Attitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  1. Frequently needs to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, in extreme non-weather heat, and in extreme non-weather cold.
  2. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and/or hear.
  3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
  4. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day, and push a cart weighing up to 100 lbs.
  5. Constantly exposed to both hot and cold temperature conditions is pertinent.
  6. Follows all safety procedures, uses restaurant safety words during all shifts, and asks for assistance as needed.
  7. Must practice proper body mechanics and use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid injury:
    1. Cutting gloves when cutting.
    2. Back support belt when lifting heavy items.
    3. Goggles and long gloves when working with chemicals.
    4. Other PPE as needed (if applicable).
