Position Title:

Kitchen Staff

Reports To:

Assistant Kitchen Manager/Kitchen Manager

Position Summary:

Helps maintain and ensure the food quality standards of Dreamland BBQ. It is helpful to have a background in working in a restaurant kitchen. Participate as part of the DREAM Team and help when necessary. Have a full working knowledge of Dreamland menu. Understand and perform safe food handling practices.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Is responsible for CUSTOMER SATISFACTION and delivering the Dreamland experience.
  • Responsible for maintaining personal hygiene, washing & sanitizing hands frequently.
  • Ensure cookware and utensils for food preparation are sanitized and functional.
  • Utilize Dreamland tools and systems to ensure quality and consistency of products.
  • Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of fulfilling guests’ orders.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws.
  • Meet all Food Safety Standards.
  • Work as part of the TEAM, fulfilling multiple line duties as needed.
Authority, Responsibility & Accountability:
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper atmosphere of all Back of House areas.
  • Assist in storing and rotating food according to regulations.
  • Keep kitchen floor clean, dry, and safe from slippage.
  • Handle trash removal, clean counters, and restrooms.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and food temperatures.
  • Assist in inventory management and reordering as needed.
  • Help prepare food items for the daily menu, including chopping, sorting, washing, and storing.
  • Report on time and maintain proper Dreamland Image.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
Experience:

Food and beverage experience preferred.

Education:

High School degree or equivalent preferred.
