R.Salerno Restaurant Group is seeking passionate and experienced kitchen staff to join our newest breakfast location, Sunnyside Social. Responsibilities include preparing a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen preferred (cook, prep cook, line cook, or similar).
• Must have or be willing to attain ServSafe or Food Handler's certification.
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours.

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe food-handling practices.
• Store and cook food at correct temperatures and ensure freshness of ingredients.
• Support all kitchen roles as needed and respond to guest feedback professionally.

Join us in the kitchen as we launch our newest breakfast location!

We are looking for passionate and experienced kitchen staff — including cooks, prep cooks, and line staff — to join our team at Sunnyside Social. You will be preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes for our guests to enjoy each morning.

You are passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences through good, quality food. With previous experience in a kitchen setting, you are able to manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. Ideally, you have your ServSafe or Food Handler's certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, work surfaces, and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food‑handling practices
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
• Store and cook food at correct temperatures by regulating ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
• Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience
• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking
• Support all kitchen roles as needed, including prep, line, and dish — we are a team!
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
