Job summary

Rosati's Pizza is a Chicago-based, family-owned Italian restaurant known for its thin crust pizza. This Kitchen Staff role is a hands-on entry point where you will help with dough, prep vegetables, and clean behind the oven.

Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required, as training is provided to help you start or grow your restaurant career. We value a team-oriented culture, hard work, and delivering great food to guests.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working on a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, listening, and time management skills.
• Able to stand on feet approximately 90% of the workday and access all areas of the location.
• Capability to withstand warm temperatures and proficient in utilizing kitchen equipment.
• Endure in various physical activities like reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing, and moving about the facility.
• Follow directions and create respectable menu items.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• You're on the move. You'll likely be on your feet your entire shift. You'll be cleaning, stocking, and making dough just to name a few tasks. You must be able to lift 3-40 lbs throughout your shift
• Taking on new duties and doing whatever is needed. You'll learn by doing

Job Summary:

As a part of our Kitchen Staff, you'll stay busy. Whether it's making dough, prepping vegetables, or cleaning that spot behind the oven, we'll rely on you to roll up your sleeves and help wherever you're needed. To thrive in this job, previous experience working at restaurants is preferred, however not required. You must love great food, hustling to help your team out, and keeping pizzas flying out of the kitchen. We'll teach you everything you need to know, which makes this a perfect starting point to launch or expand your restaurant career.
