Job summary

Wegmans in Glen Mills, PA is seeking a kitchen leader to guide a team of cooks in a fast-paced, people-first environment. You’ll mentor staff, ensure recipe accuracy, and drive profitable, smooth operations while maintaining high culinary standards.

You’ll supervise prep and line cooks, apply knife skills, share meal ideas with customers, and support training and development to help your team grow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prep or line cook experience.
• Experience leading a team.
• Food safety and quality assurance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sous chefs in running the kitchen and overseeing the team.
• Follow recipes, use proper knife skills, and apply cooking techniques to ensure consistency.
• Share your knowledge and passion for food with customers by suggesting meal ideas using products from departments around the store.
• Manage employee performance, including training, feedback and development opportunities.
