Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Full-time Utility Worker in Prineville to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas. You will clean equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces; transport supplies; and assist with basic setup and breakdown tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of sanitation procedures, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums floors and removes trash.
• Cleans equipment with chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Re-stocks supplies such as soap, towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or other mobility required.
• Ability to stand for the full shift and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attends work on time; other duties may be assigned.
