Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring for a Food Service Utility at Andrews University, 8525 University Boulevard, Berrien Springs, MI. The position is full-time with Sunday through Saturday scheduling, 40 hours per week, afternoon to night shift, and compensation of $16.00–$16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other surfaces.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment as needed.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assists with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and product.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas, keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers; steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front‑of‑house setup.
• Assists with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
