Job summary

Harmons in Salt Lake City is seeking a friendly Kitchen Team Associate to sell fresh kitchen items and provide remarkable customer service. You will package products, stock shelves, maintain cleanliness, and assist in other kitchen areas as needed.

Applicants should enjoy working with food, have strong communication, and be able to work weekends and holidays. A Current Food Handler’s Permit is preferred to ensure safe handling of items throughout shifts.

$15.00 - $18.85 PER HOUR

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to sell Harmons’ fresh kitchen items by providing remarkable customer service. This person will package product, fill shelves, stock the kitchen department, ensure cleanliness of the department, assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed, and provide exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the kitchen provides
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the kitchen
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
• Ensures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
• Serves chef prepared salads and entrees from the chef case
• Slices meats and cheeses to order
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
• Packages kitchen products and puts them out on the sales floor
• Re-stocks the kitchen department and helps sort and put away kitchen products when deliveries come in
• Assists as needed throughout the kitchen department
