Harmons Grocery in Utah is seeking a team-oriented associate to sell fresh kitchen items and provide exceptional customer service. You will package products, stock shelves, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and help with chef case items and signage.

The role requires enjoyment of handling food, strong organization, and reliable communication with customers and teammates. Weekend/evening shifts are required, with a supportive team environment at Harmons.

• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the kitchen
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
• Ensures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
• Serves chef prepared salads and entrees from the chef case
• Slices meats and cheeses to order
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
• Packages kitchen products and puts them out on the sales floor
• Re-stocks the kitchen department and helps sort and put away kitchen products when deliveries come in
• Assists as needed throughout the kitchen department
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• The work environment includes frequent exposure to hot, cold, and wet conditions
• Regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, bend, and stand for long periods

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to sell Harmons’ fresh kitchen items by providing remarkable customer service. This person will package product, fill shelves, stock the kitchen department, ensure cleanliness of the department, assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed, and provide exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Also requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire workday and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds from location to location.
