Job summary

Market of Choice is hiring full-time production workers for our Central Kitchen in Eugene. Entry-level wages start at $16.10/hour and rise to $18.60/hour, with growth potential up to $21.00/hour based on experience. On-site training is provided, with a friendly, fast-paced kitchen environment and opportunities for advancement.

Applicants should be able to follow standard recipes and food safety programs; previous work is preferred but not required. Must be at least 18 and able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain a Food Handler's Card prior to employment.
• Weekend shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timing of orders with team lead to align production schedules.
• Produce sandwiches, salads, soups, and dips for hot and cold cases.
• Package and label products for delivery on time.
• Assist with ordering and inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products.
• Train new kitchen workers and assistants.
• Ensure product quality and check for allergens.
• Maintain health and safety sanitation standards.
• Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors and employees.
