Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick in Durham, NC is seeking a kitchen team member to support daily prep and line work, ensuring brand standards and portion controls are followed.

You will maintain a clean station, assist with opening/closing tasks, and communicate shortages or equipment issues to management.

This role requires punctuality, teamwork, and strict adherence to recipes and procedures to ensure consistent product quality.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.
• Completes duties on opening and closing prep and checklists.
• Refers to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
• Follows CSC standards: portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
• Prepares all food products per portion sizes and recipe specs.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves, walls, steamer, kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Closes kitchen properly following closing checklist and assists others in closing.
• Attends all scheduled employee meetings and offers improvement suggestions.
• Reports equipment and food quality problems to Management promptly.
• Informs Management immediately of product shortages.
• Uses Standard Recipe Cards for preparing all products; does not rely on memory of other employees.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Management.
